How Much Does a 3D Floor Plan Cost?
3D floor plan pricing is driven by five things: the quality of the base drawings you supply, how many distinct plans are ordered, how far the furnishing and styling goes, how revisions are structured, and how many delivery formats are required. Four of those five are decided by the client before a studio quotes. A clean CAD file, a fixed plan list and one consolidated markup round is the cheapest version of the same drawing, and the difference between that and the expensive version is process, not quality.
Price questions on floor plans get answered badly because the honest answer is conditional. The same drawing can cost significantly more depending on what arrives with the request.
Below is the actual variable list we work from when we quote 3D floor plan projects, and what each one is worth trading.
What it actually costs
Our rate for a 3D floor plan is $850 per plan. That is the number our sales policy holds and the number we quote when someone asks directly, and it covers a standard plan drawn from usable base drawings, at standard furnishing, with one consolidated revision round and the delivery formats named at scoping.
At that rate a three plan type job is $2,550 and a seven plan type community is $5,950. Above $8,000 in total scope a package discount applies, starting at 10 percent.
What moves a project off $850 is reconstruction work when no usable drawing exists, a fully styled furnishing tier, or exports requested after production rather than at scoping. Those are the five variables below, and four of them are yours to decide.
The five variables

What does not move the price much
Room count inside a plan matters less than people expect. A four bedroom and a two bedroom of similar area are close in production terms.
Camera angle and color treatment do not change the price once a style is set. The first drawing in a new style carries the setup; the rest are cheaper.
Turnaround does move price, but only past a point. A normal schedule is priced normally. A schedule that requires displacing other work is priced as what it is.

How to get the cheapest honest quote
Send the CAD if it exists. Of the variables we listed above, this is the largest one you control, and it costs you nothing.
Fix the plan list before you ask. A quote against a moving list gets padded, because it has to be.
Name one approver. Consolidated feedback is faster and cheaper for both sides.
Name the destinations up front. Web, feed, print and leasing office exports are nearly free at production time and expensive as a follow up request.
